"Do you want to take one of the sporty cars?" asked as he fumbled through the many sets of keys
"No babes just the normal car will do" grabbed her bag and placed it near the door "Ooooo lets take a sporty one!" her mum looked at as he stood with the keys spilling from his hands
"No mum, leave Dad and to those, we can take the one I usually drive" wanted a nice relaxing few days and the idea of driving one of 's beasts didnt appeal to her
"Plus If I was to crash it I'm sure would have heart failure" winked and kissed him Hugging her Dad and tightly she kissed goodbye before jumping in the car with her mum, she turned the music up loud "Lets go!" she shouted above the music as they left the driveway.
They spent the weekend having massages, facials, swimming and dining at the spa's restaurant, enjoyed spending quality time with her mum and she updated her on everything that had happened since she started working for the 's. She hadnt heard much from while she had been away and guessed he must have been busy entertaining her father
On the drive home felt totally relaxed and refreshed and she was now looking forward to the party that had mentioned. Walking through the door she couldnt wait to see and jumped into his arms as he walked out from the kitchen "Did you miss me?" she asked, kissing him passionately "Just a bit!" he held her tightly as she slid to the floor and wrapped her arms around his neck
"What you been up to?" followed him into the kitchen and saw the empty wine glasses in the sink

laughed nervously "No and called around last night, we had a few bottles, your dad can drink!"
smiled and wondered when it was that her Dad suddenly found a taste for wine, shrugging her shoulders she slumped into the sofa near the breakfast bar. asked what she had got up to at the Spa and she spent about an hour going through all the things that she'd had done
"You do look so relaxed and fresh" he eyed her up and down as she sprawled out, stepping down from the stool he cheekily pounced on top of her and kissed her neck
screamed and wiggled underneath him as she felt him tickling and trying to kiss her at the same time " Stop!" she screamed as she tried to tickle him back
"Sorry you two love birds, I just need a drink" covered his eyes as he walked into the room and headed for the fridge
and sat up laughing, running a hand through her hair watched her Dad take a can of beer "No more wine Dad?" he looked at her puzzled then at who was staring at him with pleading eyes
"Erm, no, Me and here had enough of that!" He chuckled and quickly exited the room "Care to join me in the shower?" held out her hand and watched look up at her, his eyes seemed darker then normal and she knew he had missed her like she had him. He took her hand and stood up quickly, felt herself being scooped up from the floor and squealed with laughter as ran to the stairs with her in his arms. was making her way downstairs and stood aside laughing at the pair "Sorry Mum, I've missed him too much" called to her as stumbled up the stairs
"Dont mind us, we were young once!" chuckled and joined in the lounge

"It's not my birthday until tomorrow!" giggled as started to undress her "Class this as another early Birthday present then!" dazzled her with a sexy grin and laid back on the bed as he continued to pleasure her
After a while of laying in each others arms broke the silence "What time is the party?" looked at the clock "In about 2 hours" freed herself from his arms and headed for the shower. She wanted to wear her new summer dress tonight and planned to spend some time in getting ready
An hour later had the hair dryer going and didn’t hear the voices downstairs as they planned how they would surprise her, had been dashing around for a while and was constantly on his mobile trying to organise everything and everyone. He planned to keep in their bedroom for as long as possible so everyone would be ready and waiting for her in the garden
decided to keep her make up natural as she was sure she would end up in the pool at some point during the party and didnt fancy the idea of having mascara running down her face!
walked in just as she had put her dress on, "Babes you look gorgeous!" he kissed her lips softly, "Will you help me choose an outfit?" he swung open the door to the walk in wardrobe and disappeared
"You don’t need my help , just throw on a pair of shorts, I'm planning on dragging you into the pool anyway!" called out as she fastened her shoes
He appeared in front of her and cupped her face in his hands "I want to spend some alone time with you, I've hardly seen you with the spa trip and in a few hours our house will be full of drunken friends"
smiled and kissed him, "Come on then , strip and lets see what you will wear tonight!" She sat on the bed and grinned sexily at him. laughed and began to sexily unbutton his shirt, letting it fall to the ground he turned away from her and wiggled his bum slightly, she laughed as the trousers also landed at his feet, revealing his bum under a pair of tight black boxers. He dissapeared again into the wardrobe and returned in a pair of shorts and a T-Shirt, standing in front of he looked down and stared deep into her sparkling eyes
watched as he mesmerised her, his eye twinkled as he lowered his face and kissed her softly "Im going to make this the best birthday you've ever had, I love you so much" he whispered as he put a strand of hair behind her ear and looked into her eyes, she kissed him tenderly on the lips and stood up to hug him " I love you more" she whispered
They heard a small knock on the door as they parted, opened it slightly and heard her mum's voice

"Are you ready for your party?" she took his hand and they made their way downstairs, could hear the music already and felt butterflies at the thought of everyone being there just for her
"Close your eyes" stepped behind her and softly covered her eyes with his hands, she giggled and let lead her outside, she could hear a few voices and the music stopped removed his hands and gasped, their garden was full of people, a marque and balloons were everywhere. Looking at her parents suddenly put her hands to her mouth as tears filled her eyes, she looked down the row of people and saw her brother, her cousins, Auntie and Uncle, her Nan and finally . Running towards them all she cried freely and embraced them all in a group hug
"How did you all get here?" she squeaked in between sobs

came up behind her and she spun to face him. Pulling him close she kissed him hard and wrapped her arms around his neck
"How did you do all this?" smiled and wiped her tear stained cheek "Me and did a lot in the few days that you were at the spa" he smiled at all of 's family and hugged her back "We've been here since yesterday love, your is a wonderful man" 's nan approached her and hugged her tight
"I love you all, thanks for coming" was so over whelmed and couldnt stop crying Once she had greeted everyone had some time to catch up with , they sat under a tree and sipped their wine as they chatted
"When did you arrive here?" asked
"Yesterday, had someone collect us from the airport then we stayed here for the night while you was at the spa. I drank quite a lot of wine last night, your is a bad influence!" chuckled as she thought back to the night before, she had got a little merry along with 's aunt
laughed as she thought back to all the empty wine glasses in the sink earlier and the way her dad had quickly thought of an excuse
"He seems perfect " nodded over to where was stood chatting to . Smiling looked over at him, his smile and twinkling eyes made her heart melt and the way he threw his head back as he laughed hard at made her insides turn to jelly

"Hello everyone, please come and take a seat on the lawn, we have a little show to perform for the gorgeous birthday girl" smiled and blushed as she followed her friends and family to the stage
"I'd just like to say how lucky is to have found this gorgeous woman and I speak for everyone here that we have made a fantastic friend and she deserves to feel special today" spoke up and bent down, taking 's hand in his he went to kiss the back of it but at the last minute he pulled forward and planted his lips on hers. Giving her a short and exaggerated kiss he stood up laughing and started singing Happy Birthday to her, the rest of the lads and guests joined in. stood blushing and smiled around at everyone, she clapped when they had finished singing to her
stepped down from the stage and motioned for and her family to sit in front of him, kissing her cheek he rushed back onto the stage and got comfortable on his stool
clapped excitedly as the music started, causing to laugh and join along. caught 's attention as he stood down from stool and took his microphone from the stand

The commotion had made a crowd gather around the pool with everyone laughing as and came back to the surface of the water
"You'll pay for that !!" splashed him, couldn’t control his laughter and laughed even harder as he saw 's dad jump high into the air and cause a big splash as he hit also the water
It didn’t take long until everyone joined them in the pool, 's nan took a seat on a sun lounger, watching and laughing at the scene in front of her. swam to and supported herself by wrapping her arms around his neck

She couldn’t help but stare at him, wearing a white shirt that was now soaking wet it stuck to his toned body and bit her lip playfully as she ran her hand down his chest

They made their way to the food table with the other guests and went their seperate ways, wanted to catch up with the conversation she was having earlier with and wanted to catch up on lost drinking time, he had stayed away from the bar as he didn’t want to spoil their performance but now he decided to enjoy the rest of the night and joined the lads in their drinking games
It was getting late and there seemed to be an obvious seperation now in the guests, all the women were on the dance floor and the men were stood in a large group drinking shots and laughing loudly. She watched as he threw his head back drinking another shot in one go, her dad was even joining in and she giggled at the sight in front of her. "Babe, I nearly had a heart attack the other day running up these things!" winked and laughed as he saw pout and pretend to look insulted. She grabbed his hand and rushed upstairs, walking past one of the bedrooms saw and snuggled up asleep on the bed, they both giggled at them and closed the door. She knew she would have a lot of hungover people to laugh at in the morning!

Next morning rolled over and opened her eyes to see already dressed and sat next to her "Morning birthday girl" he bent down and kissed her
"How long have you been up?" sat up and smiled as placed a card on her lap "Ages babes, everyone is waiting for you downstairs, you need to open your presents!" smiled as she opened the card from and read the words inside, she quickly got dressed and took 's hand as they went downstairs. All her family were sat in the kitchen/lounge area and she recieved a loud "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" chorus as they entered, she thanked everyone and took a while to hug them all. She noticed and sat in the corner and smiled as she met 's gaze who smiled back shyly and blushed. The next hour was spent with opening her presents and cards from everyone, she got various wonderful gifts and felt so lucky to have all her family with her, told everyone that he had booked a restaurant for lunch as a last present for before everyone had to return back to the UK later that night As they were getting ready heard suddenly gasp
"Babe, I nearly forgot your present!" he looked over to see 's puzzled face
"But , I've had my party and we're going for a nice meal. What more could I want?" she pressed her nose against his and pecked his lips
"Come with me" he took her hand and guided her to the door, he pulled a blind fold from his pocket and gently placed it around her eyes
giggled and played along, she didnt want to spoil 's surprise but it didn’t stop her from trying to peek under it
"No peeking!" guided her outside and into the car. felt very weird as the car moved but she couldn’t see anything
"Where are we going?" she giggled as she tried to guess the direction in which he was taking her "Not far"
Stepping out of the car breathed in the familiar smell and smiled as she felt 's strong arms guide her, she could also hear muffled and quiet voices but couldn’t make out who it was
"Are you ready?" he whispered close to her ear and she nodded her head, feeling excited and slightly nervous and as to what her surprise would be
squinted her eyes as the blindfold was removed but clasped her hands to her mouth as she saw the horse stood in front of her
"Connor?!" She spun around to see with a huge smile on his face, next to him was , Donna and , all with matching smiles. Running her hands over Connor's neck couldn’t hold back her tears as she noticed the small ribbons that had been tied into his mane. She turned to and hugged him as hard as she could, "Happy Birthday Babe" he wiped her cheeks with his thumbs and kissed her
Once the excitement of the surprise had calmed down a little and headed back to the house to carry on getting ready for the meal that evening, couldn’t stop kissing every now and again and thanking him for her fantastic presents
Looking around the table later that night felt like crying once again! She didnt know why she felt constantly teary lateley but as she took it in turns to look at everyone individually she sat with a huge smile on her face, she was surrounded by everyone she loved ad as her eyes rested on she felt her heart flutter with love for him. He was laughing at something that her Nan had said and as he looked up he caught her stare, his twinkling eyes held hers for a while as he smiled back at her lovingly.
The group enjoyed fantastic food and wine and as the bill landed on the table both and went to grab it, chuckled as she saw her Dad suddenly stand up from his seat as was the quickest and surveyed the slip in front of him. She burst into laughter as she watched her Dad scurry after as they both headed to the cashier to pay, arguing with each other saw her Dad throwing his arms around and holding his hands up while shaking his head laughing. After 5 minutes of arguing she watched them return back to the table, was laughing and he leaned across to her
"We ended going halves on the bill, just to keep your dad happy. He wouldn’t let me pay for it" looked over to

It was soon time for to say her goodbyes to her family as the mini bus waited for everyone outside the gates. was busy carrying the suitcases up the driveway with while took turns in hugging everyone. She was crying once more and felt silly for making her mum and Nan cry too, Once everyone was on board the bus stood with , his arm was tightly around her and he rubbed her arm to comfort her. She found herself crying even more when the bus had driven out of sight
"Hey Babe, whats wrong? Ive never seen you cry so much these past few days" hugged her and kissed her hair
"I dont know , I have everything I could possibly wish for and I think its made me emotional, Im just so happy!" She sobbed and laughed into his chest, leaving wet streaks down his shirt laughed with her and wiped his chest as pulled away, giggling at the mess she had left behind
They spent the next few days lounging around the house and spending some time by the pool, summer had finally arrived and wanted to top up her tan. Their peaceful day by the pool was disturbed by 's phone constantly bleeping and noticed how he casually ignored it but it was beginning to annoy her
" babe, who's texting you all the time, that sound is getting slightly annoying!" she pulled her sunglasses down and looked at him. He didnt look up at her but played with the ring pull on the can of beer he was holding
"Its " he looked up slowly to see frowning. "She's still stalking you?!" was quite shocked that was still receiving the calls and texts from her, "Yeh" mumbled and looked back down to his can. " why don’t you just change your number?" was getting quite annoyed at now for letting this carry on for so long. "Dont you think I've tried? She knows everything that I do and has managed to get my new phone number somehow" said louder than he had planned. sat stunned at 's outburst and buried her head back in her book
"Babe Im sorry, she gets me mad too" got up and sat next to her, rubbing her leg gently. Placing the book on her lap looked at hard "You need to do something about her before she makes us argue like we nearly just did!" she was still pretty irritated by 's remark and lifted her book back up, pretending to read it
Hearing sigh she watched over the top of her book as he stood up and headed into the house, she decided not to follow him but to make the most of the weather and take a swim. was just getting out of the pool when she saw come back into the garden, he had got changed and was dangling his keys in his hand. "Im off out babes, Im going to settle this and tell her face to face", "Oh, ok, erm, good luck" wrapped a towel around her , walked up and took her in his arms, kissing her softly. "I wont be long, I love you and want to put a stop to this" he kissed her again and walked back to the house
settled back on the sun lounger with her book, she knew she wouldnt be able to concentrate on what she was reading until returned.
Chapter 38:
Walking into the bar was pleased to see it was nearly empty and the people who sat at the bar didn’t look like Westlife fan material. He had texted and arranged to meet , ordering himself a drink he took a seat at the back of the pub, he didn’t want to cause a scene near the entrance if it came down to it
She left him waiting ten minutes before he finally saw her enter the pub, smiling she slid next to him on the sofa
"I'd prefer it if you sat across from me please" moved slightly away from her, "Oh darling stop being fussy!" flicked her hair and watched, disappointed as stood from the sofa, walked around the coffee table and sat on the chair opposite her.
"Didnt you get me a drink ?" she looked at the table with just one drink on it, "Ok lets cut the crap" sat forward and stared at with strong eyes
"I want you to leave me alone, stop with the calls and texts every minute of the day. I'm happy with and she will soon be my wife" 's voice was stern and strong as he spoke
He saw ’s face turn to complete shock and she put a hand to her mouth
"She really has brain washed you hasn’t she?" her wide eyes stared at him, she watched as his beautiful face turned to a smile
"You're the one that is brain washed . I love her with all my heart and nothing will come between us and I will say it again..... Leave us alone" he grabbed his drink and finished it
"But you love me not her, we had many happy years together" started to panic as she saw how serious was
"No, you loved me for my money and you had many happy years. I on the other hand had my life ruined by you. Being with has made me see what a lie I was actually living" stood up and took his jacket
"Nice to see you again darling, if I hear from you again you will get a reply but not from me. Im sure the police and my solicitor would love to chat to you"
sat shocked and watched him leave the bar, she thought she would have easily got him back and that today would be that day. She definitely didn’t expect what just happened!
heard her phone ring and reached over, seeing 's name she felt nervous about what he was about to tell her
"Hey babes" he sighed as she answered
"How did it go?" bit her bottom lip and waited
"It went great, I basically told her to leave us alone or I will get the police involved" sat behind the steering wheel and noticed in his rear view mirror, she glared at him as she walked past his car
sighed loudly and smiled "That’s great, how did she take it?"
"I didn’t really give her chance to reply babes, just told her and then I left. I’m on my way home now. I love you"
heard the car engine start ready for him to return back to her

Back at work loved the fact that she could include Connor in her days work and did her best to spend every spare minute with him, she would ride him in her lunch break and spend an hour after her shift to groom him, she still felt the luckiest girl alive to have been given such a wonderful gift from a wonderful man in her life
She had been feeling rather poorly for the past few days and riding Connor seemed like a huge effort today, as she brought him back to the stables she suddenly felt dizzy and light headed.
Sitting down in the stable she heard 's voice calling for her

Before could protest already had her mobile to her ear and must have answered as she heard her talking to someone

Once had finished her tea she still felt sick but much better than before. Her and used the spare time to have a gossip and catch up
suddenly burst through the office door and rushed over to , bending down he saw her smile at his sweaty brow and panting breaths from running
"Babes are you ok? What happened?" he now looked to
"She's not eating anything and nearly collapsed earlier" informed him before had chance to speak
"Im fine " wobbly stood up, her legs felt like jelly and her stomach flipped, making her feel light headed once again

"Thanks ,, I'll call the doctor at home" headed out of the door with her in his arms
In 's ears the voices seemed to echo and she closed her eyes, resting her head on 's shoulder, she breathed in his scent and relaxed into him. It was a long walk back upto the house but adrenaline kept walking at a fast pace, once home he placed on the sofa and brought a duvet down from downstairs.
Feeling so tired felt comfortable as she felt a fluffy duvet being placed over her and drifted off to sleep. watched her for a while with a worried look upon his face and grabbed his mobile, dialling his local doctor
It wasn’ too long before the doctor arrived and had woken, she felt silly for the fuss she had caused but wouldn’t let her move from the spot that she was laid in. Examining her carefully the doctor asked if would mind going to the ladies room to give a sample. felt so embarrassed handing him the sample and as she looked at with red cheeks he laughed lightly at her expression, he took a seat next to her and kissed her cheek as they watched the doctor disappear back to his car. A few minutes later he returned and sat opposite and , she could see he a small strip of blue paper in his hand and wondered what he had been doing in his car
"I have good news and bad news" the doctor smiled
's face suddenly went back to a worried expression and he took 's hand
"The good news is that you are going to be parents, congratulations"

"Im going to be a dad?" asked the doctor to make sure
"Yes Mr. , this blue strip here shows positive" the doctor held up the piece of paper
"Oh my god" whispered as she processed what that doctor had just said
Looking at she saw tears rolling down his cheeks, he didn’t speak but cupped 's face and kissed her softly, staring deep into her eyes she heard how croaky his voice was
"You've made me the happiest man in the world"
smiled and hugged him tight, tears of joy were now rolling down her cheeks too. The doctors small cough seperated them and laughed "I’m sorry about that" he apologised and wiped his eyes
"Congratulations. I take it that was a surprise!" the doctor smiled at the couple in front of him "A wonderful surprise" smiled and watched nod in agreement
"But whats the bad news?" still had hold of 's hand
"Well, you need to rest and take lots of vitamins. The lack of eating and doing too much has made you feel like you do" the doctor looked at and she nodded her head
"I will, I'll do anything for this baby" squeezed ‘s hand
"I can see that you will be well looked after" the doctor winked at and stood up to leave.
Shaking his hand enthusiastically saw him out and thanked him
Left sat on the sofa alone burst into tears of joy again, she couldnt quite believe how perfect things were turning out for her. She was sure would make a great Dad and smiled as she imagined tiny feet running around the house
"Babe, you are happy aren’t you?" 's voice suddenly snapped her out of her thoughts and she looked up at him
"Of course I am" she stood up and embraced him tightly. He spun her round and kissed her passionately

They decided to only tell their family about the pregnancy for now and as told her parents the news she cried along with her Mum over the phone, they were planning on another trip to Ireland and assured that they would be there to help her along the way. called his parents and also shed a few tears at the fantastic response that he received from them.
Laying in bed that night lay her hands on her tummy and smiled at the thought of the little one that they had created, feeling 's hand join hers she glanced sideways at him and smiled "Its weird isn’t it?" she whispered as she watched him kiss her shoulder
"We've created a life that’s now inside me"
smiled and kissed her again "You'll be the best mum in the world"
leaned over and kissed his soft lips "And you will be the best Dad in the world!"
Shane pulled her to him and sent shivers all over her body with his touch, they celebrated their news by making love until the early hours of the morning, declaring how much love they felt for one another

Back at work had stict orders from Donna and only did the odd light jobs, she decided to change her hours so she didn’t work as long days, she felt guilty for not telling about the pregnancy but they wanted to wait until their first scan until they announced it to the world
had organised for them to go out for a meal that night and as finished her last job for the day she planned on what to wear that night, although she had no baby bump yet she knew her clothes would soon be elastic waists and the maternity section so she wanted to make the most of it. Choosing her favourite black dress she watched 's eyes light up as she walked down the stairs to him
"You look stunning" he kissed her cheek and opened the door for them to leave
"You're looking pretty sexy too Mr. " checked him out in his jeans, shirt and jacket. She loved the way his jeans were tight across his bottom and she placed her hand there cheekily as they walked to the car. He threw her a sexy sideways smiled and opened the car door for her
"Where are we going?" asked as she couldn’t see anything outside but darkness
"You'll soon see"
She watched as he confidently drove along the winding roads, he obviously knew where he was going
Stepping out into the darkness saw the soft lights of the small cottage and suddenly recognised it as the place that they had rode to for their first lunch date
"Do you know where we are now?" took her hand and guided her to the door
"Yes, I love this place" smiled
As she entered was once again blown away by what had organised. The table for two was set out like last time but the room was filled with twinkling lights, candles and soft music. Gavin appeared from the back and showed them to their table, gazed across the table at as the soft candle light glowed on his beautiful face and she felt her tummy flip as he smiled at her. Taking her hand in his he stared at his beautiful girl and couldn’t believe that he had her in his life and that they were now bringing a new life to add to the perfect the one they already had
As they were finishing the meal felt the butterflies appear in his stomach and casually checked his pocket for the small package he had purchased earlier that day while was at work.
"This is just perfect" whispered to him as she sipped her water and looked around at the beautifully decorated room
decided this was his moment, slowly standing up he made his way over to who quickly looked up at him. She thought he was going to ask her to dance and was about to stand up to join him when she saw him kneel down in front of her
" babe, I love you so much, will you do me the honour of becoming Mrs. ?"
sat stunned for what felt like an eternity, looking into 's eyes until her gaze caught the gorgeous diamond ring that was holding out to her
"Yes, Yes, I love you so much" jumped up and fell into his arms kissing him hard
Placing the ring on her finger he watched as she burst into tears again
"Babes, your going to have no tears left" giggled as he watched her gazing at her new ring "I think its the hormones!" she looked up at him and laughed
" I absolutely love it and I love you" she kissed him again and turned as she heard clapping behind them. Gavin and his chef were stood with teary eyes applauding the couple
Their first scan went smoothly and they were able to take home a photo of their developing baby, their first stop was 's parent house and after many hugs, tears and laughter they left a copy of the scan photo with them. It would only be a few days before 's parents would visit and she also had a copy to give them. As soon as they got home headed down to 's house, knocking on the door she felt so nervous at telling her friend the news
"Hey babes nice to see you, come in" greeted and stepped aside
Once the kettled had boiled and took a seat at the breakfast bar and caught up with the general gossip from work
"Hey , I forgot to ask you something" she had done well in hiding her hand so that didn’t catch a glimpse of the ring
"How do you fancy being my bridesmaid?" smiled at her
"Are you being serious?!" put down her mug and looked at wide eyed
Flashing her hand in front of 's face laughed as she heard a high pitched squeal come from her
"Wow its stunning!" inspected the ring and jumped down from her stool, hugging her friend tightly
"Id love to be your bridesmaid! When are you planning the big day to be?" took her seat back and sounded excited at the thought of helping plan the wedding
"As soon as possible, we need to go dress shopping this weekend" watched 's face light up
"Oh and another thing" looked at and waited
"Yes, whats the other thing? Dont leave me waiting" shuffled on her chair
"Would you like to be a god mother?"
sat for a while staring balnkly at , her mouth slowly opened wide and her eyes flicked to 's stomach
Nodding her head joined as she jumped from her chair again and grabbed her for a hug. The two friends jumped around hugging and laughing
"I cant believe it!" finally said as they sat back down and took a drink
"Neither could I, everything is just perfect" got emotional again and gulped back the tears "Im so happy for you both" also held back her tears
"I told you he would change his ways!" giggled "Now let’s go and buy some wedding and baby magazines to start planning the rest of your life!"
